Porches have long been my personal specialty, in part because porches have the highest concentration of architectural details on the home’s exterior, while staging the entrance to the house. Getting these details right will mean the difference between an out-of-place deck that looks like it belongs on a McMansion or an embellishment of the home’s perfect lines.
Take a look at my porches. You can see how the rail, skirting, and columns are properly sized and proportioned, enhancing the architectural style of the home. I build the finest and most authentic rails in the Milwaukee area. Assembling them in my state-of-the-art-shop, I cut, space, and size things precisely yet efficiently, glue and clamp components, and completely prime them before they ever meet the elements. I can match originals, work from old blueprints, or design a porch that would be typical of the era and house style.
